This post was started March 2014 and I kept putting it off, but after seeing some diehard rabid fanboys/girls bullying people who have issues with a certain dice company, I decided it was time to finish the post.
You may not have heard of the terms fanboy and fangirl, but you probably know a few. Note, I am restricting the term to those who go overboard to the point of bullying, threatening, and doing other things that cross the line. I am not talking about fans. I am a fan of Star Trek, but I acknowledge its many failings and other issues. I am also not going to get in your face for not liking Star Trek.

It’s one thing to be a fan, but when you reach the point to becoming a rabid diehard fanboy/girl of – company, game, celebrity, author, etc. then you need to re-think your position.
