World Wide Cemetery – Tombstone Tuesdays July 2, 2019

I found this graving/cemetery/memorial website today and decided it would be this week’s Tombstone Tuesdays addition – World Wide Cemetery – Tombstone Tuesdays July 2, 2019: https://cemetery.org/.There is a one-time $90 fee to add a memorial: https://cemetery.org/memorial-form/; additional information: https://cemetery.org/about/. Visit memorials: https://cemetery.org/visit-a-memorial/

It claims to be the oldest cemetery and memorial site online – https://cemetery.org/20-years-word-wide-cemetery-classic-design/. It started April 1995, making it over 24 years old. While Tipton started the concept of Find-A-Grave sometime in 1995, its current inception shows it’s a bit less than 19 years old based on the founder’s length on the site as user #1 – Jim Tipton (founder of Find-A-Grave) profile: https://www.findagrave.com/user/profile/1. First memorial – Find-A-Grave: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/1 (December 31, 2000). Earliest listing on the Wayback Machine – Find-A-Grave: https://web.archive.org/web/19981205220624/http://findagrave.com/ (December 5, 1998).

It’s an interesting concept as the $90 fee gets you at least 100 years of the memorial being online.
