Prior to yesterday afternoon, I am not sure I had ever heard of Deming, New Mexico. Yet, within hours (7 -8), I had seen the town crop up twice. The blog post above was the second occurrence which happened last night. The first time was in a book that had been donated to Midwest Historical and Genealogical Society – http://mhgswichita.org/wp/ years ago. I was watching somebody scan marriage licenses (nowhere near as exciting as it sounds) and noticed a pile of books.
