In my last post, Sweet and Saucy Candy and Soda Sauce Shop, Wichita, Kansas Opened Today June 19, 2019, I talked about the Carolina Reaper sauce. It seems that the man who created the Carolina Reaper thought it wasn’t hot enough. As a comparison, Habanero has a rating of 100,000 – 350,000 SHU. Carolina Reaper – has around 1,500,000 – 2,200,000 SHU for its rating. It took 10 years for him to create the next level which is the Pepper X – with an estimated 3.18 million SHU.
