Apple Water Tower, Jackson, Ohio – Weirdness Wednesdays May 22, 2019

I mentioned in a recent post about how some of my ancestors had a connection to OhioPreserving Pennsylvania’s oldest historical documents – witf. I decided to check Roadside America to see if there were any unusual items listed for Ohio. Imagine my surprise when I came across the Apple Water Tower, Jackson, Ohio: I have previously mentioned other unusual water towers in other posts over the last few months. Not as weird as it might be, but why it was done was a bit out of the ordinary.

The Fire Museum of Texas (FMOT) is recognized as one of Texas’ best FREE places for individuals, groups and families to visit! Opened originally as the Beaumont Fire Department Historical Museum in 1984, the FMOT has been endorsed by the State Firemen’s and Fire Marshal’s Association as Texas’ official fire museum since 1986.
