SpaceX scrubs second attempt to launch 60 Starlink satellites [Updated] – Space Saturdays May 18, 2019

I saw this on Thursday evening – SpaceX scrubs second attempt to launch 60 Starlink satellites [Updated]:

It looks like it may have been software issues although that has not been confirmed as of the link above. I will monitor between Thursday night and early Saturday morning in case more information comes out. The plan is to try a launch in about a week.

SpaceX is postponing our launch of 60 Starlink satellites to update satellite software and triple check everything again–always want to do everything we can on the ground to maximize mission success. The next launch opportunity is targeted for about a week (exact date TBD). SpaceX’s Starlink is a next-generation satellite network capable of connecting the globe, especially reaching those who are not yet connected, with reliable and affordable broadband internet services.
