After seeing her post, https://dopaminequeen.com/2019/05/10/how-to-explain-a-suicide-to-a-child/, I felt a burden to post about suicide. I am not suicidal, but have lost family and friends to suicide. I have experienced the depths of feeling and thinking about suicide over the decades. I was struggling with how to post about it until I saw her post about talking about suicide.
While many will talk to somebody about suicide, some don’t. Those are the ones where a family member or friend may be able to pick up on subtle clues that a person is giving off that can be missed by others.
My suggestion is if anyone is having suicidal thoughts or feelings, please talk to somebody.
