Latest DNA Sale Prices April 26, 2019

These are the latest prices as of a few minutes ago. I noticed FamilyTree DNA (FTDNA) extended their sale to April 28, 2019 when it originally was supposed to end yesterday.

Publishing these outside my normal posting schedule.

23andMe: No sale as of April 26, 2019 for their Ancestry/Ethnicity Test, regular price $99 (Ancestry/Ethnicity Only). Their (Health + Ancestry/Ethnicity) test is on sale $169 through May 13, 2019, regular price $199. Same prices on Amazon.

Dante Labs sale price $229.00 (believe sale ends April 29, 2019), regular price $899.00.  On Amazon, there are several listings: 1), sale price $229.00, regular price $699.00 ; 2) Dante Labs Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) for Healthcare Professionals, Sequence 20000 Genes, with Personalized Report, with Saliva Collection Kit, sale price $599.00. check Amazon as they sometimes temporarily offer great deals on some Dante Labs kits – see Dante Labs Amazon Sale Prices (updated September 4th with additional clarification from Dante Labs) for more details. Another Dante Labs test on Amazon is Dante Labs DNA Test for Health and Wellness for Healthcare Professionalssale price $149.00 (as of April 26, 2019), regular price is $199.00 The sale is still going, but no word on how long until they end it. FTDNA April 2019 Sale

FindMyPastDNA (they use LivingDNA kits – see LivingDNA below): – sale price $59 each as of April 26, 2019 (ends April 30, 2019) although it’s on sale for $59 on LivingDNALivingDNA kits on Amazon (as of April 26, 2019), – on Amazon, sale price $128.00 + $4.99 shipping.

Full Genomes Corporation (FGC) now has individual SNP tests What is a SNP? for $15 – (not an affiliate link).

Geno 2.0 Next – Other than the Amazon sale listed below, prices are about what they normally run. Helix, National Geographic, GroupOn, and Amazon (price varies a bit between the various links below) $59.99 ** + another $40.00  if you need a Helix DNA kit as of April 26, 2019 if you need a Helix kit for an individual; regular price tends to run $149.95 or $199.95 which includes the Helix DNA kit cost – No word on when this sale price ends. If you order directly from National Geographic (Nat Geo) – regular price $99.95* (regular price varies between $149.95 to $199.00 or sometimes $199.95 on Nat Geo website; if the person has previously tested with Helix for any other DNA test, don’t order from Nat Geo as you are paying for a kit that you don’t need). Amazon sale price is $31.99* with free shipping (Amazon price current as of April 26, 2019; tends to go back to around $99.95 on a regular basis when a sale ends) and is cheaper if you need a Helix kit for a person due to free shipping that Amazon offers. Note: U. S. kits are processed by Helix (spit kit) .

Not as useful since National Geographic (Nat Geo) now uses Helix to process their kits and the limited amount of DNA results shown make it difficult to do comparisons. Maybe one day Helix will provide more DNA data for Geno 2.0 Next or at least provide the raw data free on the Helix site.

Gini Health: – health reports, food smart lists, and digital coach. Two options: subscription and non-subscription: 1) subscription $25 for the test + $9.99/month (12 month minimum subscription); 2) $135 test non-subscription.

Helix DNA: I received an e-mail for a free Wellness Basics I don’t know if it’s available for free if you didn’t get an e-mail or if you haven’t previously tested with them. They sent me an activation code once I ordered it on Helix.

LivingDNA sale price $59 DNA Day Sale; regular price is $99 (price as of April 26, 2019).
