A Simple d20 Dice Bag – with d20s Kickstarter Campaign

Disclosure: I have backed this campaign for $30. I also previously backed their https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1398817948/dragon-d20-dice for $27.

I received an e-mail a few days ago about this campaign, A Simple d20 Dice Bag – with d20s – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1398817948/a-simple-d20-dice-bag-with-d20s.  The campaign is at $2,110 pledged of $600 goal 98 backers 7 days to go so it is fully funded. You can monitor it on Kicktraq: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1398817948/a-simple-d20-dice-bag-with-d20s. It is only an 8-day campaign, ends Friday, April 12 2019 7:00 PM CDT.

Black Oak Workshop

Our next project is launching soon!

As a backer of our previous projects, we wanted to let you know about our latest project before it launches to give you a shot at the early bird levels! This is a very simple and straightforward project that will only run for one week.

Thursday, April 4 at 8:00PM Eastern

The is a short project that is centered around a single dice bag designed with a very popular subject in mind – the d20! Everyone who backs will receive one or more of our Imperial Dragon d20s (one per bag backed for) and we may unlock even more d20s if we hit the stretch goals.

This project is all about passing on savings to our backers.

It included a preview link that let people see the campaign and the e-mail asked for feedback. I made the suggestion to include how many dice or dice sets (including how many dice in the set) it is designed to hold. I have run across dice bags that give dimensions only, but don’t include how many dice or dice sets they can hold. I am not a visual enough person to equate that 5.5″/14 cm wide by 8.5″/21.5 cm tall =

This bag is BIG! It will hold 12 standard sized RPG sets (7 dice sets) or 80 standard sized d20s with room to spare. It’s pictured below with 60 of our oversized Imperial Dragons inside!

They e-mailed me back and thanked me for the suggestion and incorporated it into the campaign as noted above.

I liked they include a D20 in each dice bag you order. Plus, they have stretch goals where you can get extra free D20s/bag.

I am happy with my earlier Dragon D20 order as I received it a while back.

Here are some of their earlier Kickstarter campaigns: https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/1398817948/created.

I think it’s important to offer potential backers early access to your campaign by using a preview link. That way they can give feedback on things you may have missed. And, it gives them an early heads-up on what your goals and rewards you are offering.
