Strataca, The Kansas Underground Salt Museum – Kansas Tuesdays April 2, 2019

I checked out Atlas Obscura for today’s Kansas Tuesdays, April 2, 2019. Here’s a place that’s on my Bucket List as visited – Strataca, The Kansas Underground Salt Museum: https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-kansas-underground-salt-museum-hutchinson-kansas. It’s been a few years back, but at the time, my cell phone didn’t work in the area near the Salt Museum. Plus, I was with a group and the only thing that stopped me and another person from being left behind was the checklist of people who got on the van before we left Wichita. When I visited it, it didn’t have the new name, Strataca.

It’s hard to believe you are so deep because the elevator takes you down so fast. It has a lot of Hollywood memorabilia stored down there due to the dryness of the salt mine.
