Updated 1:00 PM U. S. Central Time April 1, 2019: The campaign ends in 33 hours and is now up to $1,515,783 pledged of $25,000 goal and 18,202backers. Looks like it has slowed down a bit towards the end, but the last 24 hours, and sometimes the last half-hour can make a significant difference.

This Kickstarter campaign, Root: The Underground Expansion Kickstarter Campaign:, has taken off. As of last night with 47 hours remaining, it was at $1,454,795 pledged of $25,000 goal with 17,455 backers. You can see how it has done at Kicktraq: It ends Tuesday, April 2 2019 10:00 PM CDT. The expansion is at least $50 if you go with the bare minimum pledge and $150 if you want the original Root game included, which runs $60 on the company’s website. Interesting, according to Kicktraq, the trending amount is the same as the amount raised. That’s the first time I have seen an active campaign have matching numbers.

That’s an impressive amount of pledges and backers for what was a $25,000 campaign goal.

Here’s the original Root game Kickstarter campaign: It raised $631,770 pledged of $24,000 goal with 8,454 backers.
