For example, this Kickstarter campaign was funded in under a minute, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/howardtayler/schlock-mercenary-challenge-coins, with a campaign goal of $1,800. However, I have seen campaigns where $50,000+ campaign goals were funded in hours or within the first 24 hours. In this case, the campaign – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/getpebble/pebble-time-awesome-smartwatch-no-compromises hit $1,000,000 in 49 minutes with a goal of $500,000. It ultimately hit $20,338,986 by the end of the campaign.
Do most campaigns get fully funded this fast? No. Do most campaigns hit megafunded levels? No. I have seen plenty of campaigns fail with much smaller campaign goals, including one that had a goal of several hundred dollars.
