23andMe Beta Update v5 chip March 14, 2019

I missed this notice yesterday as it went into my main folder. From other reports, the link in the quote below is where the e-mail link takes one, and the date on the link is from last August. I haven’t tested with the v5 chip on 23andMe. I tested with the v3 chip back in mid-2013. I am waiting to see when they are going to offer an upgrade and how much it will cost.

Dear 23andMe Beta Tester,

As part of our ongoing effort to improve the 23andMe experience for all customers, we’re in the process of updating Ancestry Composition with 7 additional Central & South Asian populations. Note that this beta update is only available for customers on the v5 chip at this time.

Your Ancestry Composition results have been recomputed to reflect this update. After viewing your new results, please scroll to the bottom of the page to answer a few brief questions about your experience.

Thank you for your contributions and commitment to helping improve our product.
