In Memory of H. P. Lovecraft (1890 – 1937)

Find-A-Grave showed H. P. Lovecraft died on this date in 1937. I included a link to his Find-A-Grave memorial below. You can find many of his works online: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._P._Lovecraft#Online_editions. I don’t know why Find-A-Grave lists him as a science fiction writer. His books were more in the horror genre according to many people. I wouldn’t recommend reading them if you have nightmare issues as they tend to be not easy or light reads. Here’s a good reference list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._P._Lovecraft_bibliography.

I have never read any of H. P. Lovecraft‘s books, but I am familiar with one of the Role-Playing Games (RPGs) – Classic Cthulhu by Chaosium –  https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse/pub/2/Chaosium/subcategory/74_79/Call-of-Cthulhu-Classic?page=1&sort=7a (not an affiliate link) and https://www.chaosium.com/classic-cthulhu/ (not an affiliate link) created from his books. If you are not familiar with Lovecraft, Wikipedia is helpful: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H_P_Lovecraft. I have seen one movie based on his work: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re-Animator.

Here are his memorials on BillionGraves: https://billiongraves.com/grave/Howard-Phillips-Lovecraft/5720568/ and Find-A-Grave: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/1188/h_p_-lovecraft.
