Thank You to BillionGraves Contributor for Rear Admiral Fluckey’s Headstone Photo

I posted about Rear Admiral Eugene B. Fluckey also known as “Lucky Fluckey” in this blog post: The Sub That Sank a Train. Thank you to Beth, BillionGraves contributor, for taking and transcribing the photo. You can view the image at https://billiongraves.com/grave/Eugene-B-Gene-Fluckey/30261746. The good news is that BillionGraves shows you where in the cemetery the photo was taken so if you get a chance to visit the cemetery, you will know where to find his burial place.

.Its captain for a large portion of the sub’s activities was Eugene “Lucky” Fluckey, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_B._Fluckey. You can also read more about him at http://www.ussnautilus.org/medalofhonor/fluckey.shtml.

You can view his Find-A-Grave memorial at https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/20227660/eugene-b.-fluckey. A photo request has been added on BillionGraves, and you can view the cemetery at https://billiongraves.com/cemetery/US-Naval-Academy-Cemetery/180929.
