As a follow-up to my earlier post: Gerbils — A Dad trying to cope with the loss of his Partner and becoming a single parent., I bring you a number of hamster videos on YouTube. YouTube loves to throw random videos at you which may or may not be related to what you have recently watched. Some examples are I watched a hamster ball video, linked in my post above or simply go here – Hamster in a Ball https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfuw9KP0WAU. I wasn’t surprised when they added a few suggested hamster videos. On the other hand, sometimes why they suggest videos is beyond my understanding. If I haven’t done a search on Martian and/or invasions – be it on YouTube or Google, why would they think I would find Martian invasions interesting? It’s not always things that are trending on YouTube or Google, at least that would make sense.
On to the YouTube videos:
How much does a hamster cost?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMQ-34jKxwg (about 5:22 minutes long) – this is only the basic start-up cost and not the monthly cost; it’s includes both American and Canadian prices. Expect similar prices for gerbils, mice, and other small rodents.
Watch THIS before getting a hamster 🐹⚠️: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dsJ8Bj-jQ4 (around 3:25 minutes long) – worth watching first especially if you plan on giving a hamster, gerbil, etc. to a child!
BASIC HAMSTER CARE | All about hamsters! 🐹: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VoBRJrr2_0 (about 7:59 minutes long)
Pros and Cons of Owning a Hamster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cl9y7Xnuvg (about 3:39 minutes long)
How to Raise a Hamster: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=how+to+raise+a+hamster – plenty of good videos to watch before you get a hamster.
Designing A Cage Theme (Step by Step + Timelapse): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VYMRKcR0dU (around 8:31 minutes long) – okay, where was this video when I had hamsters (LOL). However, I would have chosen one theme and not gone with changing themes like she does.
