Man Trying to Sue Parents for Having Him Without Getting His Consent

I saw this posted on Facebook today.

In this case, a man in India is trying to sue his parents for not getting his consent from him before he was conceived. Definitely a “I Haven’t Seen It All” winner.

Samuel says he acknowledges that it is impossible to gain consent from a person before they have been born, and is having trouble finding a lawyer to take his case. What’s worse: both of his parents are lawyers.

Samuel shared a Facebook post, allegedly written by his mother that said, “If Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault.”

Let’s see: he admits that getting consent before the person is born is impossible. Is it no wonder he’s having trouble getting a lawyer? He wants to make a point (it’s in the portion I snipped out above)? What point?

I ran a search and found several articles and YouTube videos about this lawsuit. Here’s the BBC article: Note the fake beard in one of the photos.

Will his mother feel the same if he manages to find a lawyer who wins the case?

“I’m very happy that my son has grown up into a fearless, independent-thinking young man. He is sure to find his path to happiness.”
