Has Glenn Miller’s Plane Been Found?

As I was working on a blog post, Today In World War II History, I came across this article: Possible crash site of Glenn Miller https://ww2db.com/news.php?news_id=214.

If you are not familiar with Glenn Miller, Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Miller. His Find-A-Grave memorial: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/2575.

The group looking into the disappearance is The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, TIGHAR (pronounced “tiger”) – https://tighar.org. It’s a non-profit foundation that is dedicated to promoting responsible aviation archaeology and historic preservation. Link to the project: https://tighar.org/Projects/GlennMiller/glennmiller.html. They went to England in December 2018.
