Crowdfunding Trick at Campaign Start

Disclaimer Update: I have backed this campaign for a small amount (less than $20).

Updated February 8, 2019: He hit 50% funded in the first 24 hours.

I don’t know the creator although he is in Wichita, Kansas. I have Facebook messaged him with some questions. He answered them promptly.

With this Kickstarter campaign – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dougoutcrafts/divination-dice-set-relaunch-by-dougoutcrafts, the creator made a smart decision.

He offered a bonus for those who pledge within the first 24 hours. He created the campaign yesterday, February 6, 2019, around 8:21 P. M. U. S. Central Time. It’s a free dice bag, value is $5 (updated February 8, 2018 – he was able to get the price down to $3) $3 USD.

Many creators don’t offer early backer bonus items. It is a good marketing strategy since early backers can get the word out.

He has a Facebook page, https://m.facebook.com/DougOutCrafts/.
