New Kickstarter Dice Campaign – Ice Cream Dice

This Kickstarter campaign – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/icecreamdice/ice-cream-dice started this morning, and it’s fully funded in 9.5 hours as of about 6:30 P. M. U. S. Central Time, and he had 687 backers, pledging:

$23,317 pledged of $22,892 goal.
He’s on his way to a great campaign and I will be checking in to see how it’s going. He has eight (8) Stretch Goals, ranging from $35,000 to $500,000.
Here’s a good tracking site: http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/icecreamdice/ice-cream-dice/. The amounts are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and he is in Canada; rough estimate is $22,892 USD converts to $30,000 CAD. It’s been updated, but slightly behind. It was almost an hour behind at one point and looks like it updates on the hour. I generally ignore Kicktraq‘s trending, especially this early in a campaign, although it shows the campaign trending towards over $947,000.
I came across this campaign in a Facebook group – Dice Maniacs Club, https://www.facebook.com/groups/DiceManiacsClub/?ref=br_rs. It was announced about a month ago.
You can find Marc’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/IceCreamPolyhedrals/. Here’s his Twitter account: https://twitter.com/IScreamDice.
His posting to the Dice Maniacs Club Facebook group and Tweeting early were big boosts as the people in the Facebook group and 3,200+ Twitter followers are more likely to pledge a dice campaign than the general public.
He includes shipping costs on the campaign page for Canada, U. S., the U. K., and Europe.
He will be doing Backerkit as the pledge manager.
