USS Wichita (LCS-13) Commissioning Today

Update: you can view the commissioning on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDvDCfdRwvQ if you missed it.

I mentioned this last night in USS Wichita (LCS-13) Commissioning January 12, 2019. It’s supposed to start at 9 A. M. (according to the Wichita newspaper which would make it 10 A. M. U. S. Eastern Time and from other sources, 10 A. M. U. S. Eastern Time is when it’s supposed to start). You can view at http://navylive.dodlive.mil/2019/01/10/uss-wichita-lcs-13-commissioning-ceremony/ or  https://www.navy.mil/ah_online/live/ah-live.asp. (not live yet, but should be live shortly once the ceremony starts as it’ supposed to go live 5 minutes before the ceremony starts). I am scheduling this to go live at 8 A. M. U. S. Central Time, one (1) hour before it goes live as I expect to be asleep. From the Wichita Eagle article I posted last night, it should also be viewable on C-Span II. You may need to sign it to view it, based on what I saw when I checked out C-Span II last night.

Here are some photos I found from the local Jacksonville newspaper tour of the USS Wichita, scroll down: https://www.jacksonville.com/photogallery/LK/20190111/NEWS/110009978/PH/1.

Too late to order tickets, but I found a few more items about the USS Wichita at https://usswichita.org/.
