2018 Blog Stats in Review

First, a big thank you to those who visited my blog, followed me including the handful who later unfollowed me, liked a post, or commented on a post. Like some other blogs have said, many won’t consider these big stats compared to other blogs that may have 10 – 100 times the numbers below. However, for my blog, 2018 was the best year, totally outmatching the first four (4) years combined. It was the first year I could devote a lot of time to my blog. Update: added followers.

Second, a big shout-out to Christina Reid of https://chrikarublog.wordpress.com/2019/01/02/2018-blogging-stats/ for motivating me to do this post. I have been mulling over doing it for a week or so, but seeing her post gave me the incentive to “get things done.”

I have learned a lot from other bloggers during 2018. I followed a number of bloggers, liked and occasionally commented on some of their posts. I sometimes re-blog some bloggers, with or without additional comments of my own.

The rest of this post will probably be boring for most, but for those who choose to read it, another thank you.

Congrats–you’re in good shape for the new year!

Thank you Jamie. I don’t have the first 2 1/2 years for comparison as I used a different URL for the blog back then although I saved the posts before the old URL crashed and was able to upload those posts to this URL later, but 2018 beat the first four years by a landslide. It helped that I started posting a lot more this year than previous years.
