No FindMyPast Fridays December 28, 2018

I checked FindMyPast – https://blog.findmypast.com/latest-records/ for its weekly FindMyPast Fridays post today and didn’t see one. It’s late enough Friday evening they may have decided not to do one this week. .

Unlike other posts, the FindMyPast Fridays posts rely on updating new records from the last week so it’s not something they can easily schedule in advance. At most, they may post it on Thursday so it’s only a bit early. It will be curious to see how they handle it as I haven’t paid attention in the past years to see how they handle it. In a quick search, I am not sure how long FindMyPast Fridays has been a part of FindMyPast. I didn’t see anything to indicate how they handled it in earlier years. It does appear to be last year that they jumped from December 22, 2017 – https://blog.findmypast.com/new-records-available-to-search-this-findmypast-friday-2519370507.html to early January 2018 – https://blog.findmypast.com/findmypast-friday-2522531097.html, leaving out the last Friday of 2017.
