I had a great therapist. She was a student at a local college, Friends University, and as part of her Master’s pursuit, she had to do therapy sessions with clients who visited the college’s clinic. Thankfully, the college allowed clients to continue to see the therapists when they graduated if they start their own practice. Unfortunately, my therapist chose to keep her day job working at a local bank. She was one of the best therapists I ever had and I hope one day she will decide to put her degree to use. Her replacement was a bad fit so I stopped going to the clinic. I eventually found a good therapist, but so far nobody has meet the expectations I have after getting such great therapy from a student.
