This is one of the lowest prices I have seen for National Geographic’s (Nat Geo) Geno 2.0 Next DNA test: $39.98 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/National-Geographic-DNA-Test-Kit/dp/B07BSKZFDD/. It’s not too useful for genealogical DNA testing purposes right now, but I suspect either Helix or a third party vendor will figure out a way to make it useful in the not too distant future. The plus side is you get the Helix DNA kit and you only need one per individual which will save you the kit cost (ranges from occasionally free to $80.00). This sale price probably won’t last long although with Amazon, it’s hard to say when it will end.
There are various tests offered on Helix: https://www.helix.com/collections/all. They add more testing options, but when I last checked, these were the ones available: List of DNA Tests Offered Through Helix. Many of the tests are on sale right now. If you order on Amazon, then want to order a specific test on Helix for the same individual, simply check already have a kit to save the kit cost. If you use EBates extension, you can get 8.5% back on Helix. Make sure to activate EBates before you order.
