From the original link:

  1. You’ll never make money
  2. Trying to relate
  3. Blogging is easy
  4. I don’t read your posts
  5. Giving advice without experience
  6. Anyone can do it-

Point 1: I have never made any money off my blog and for a short while, I was spending a fair amount of money with a third party company to maintain certain aspects of my blog. It’s possible to make a decent amount of money, and in some cases generate enough income blogging to quit your day (or night) job.

Point 2: Goes hand in hand with point 3 below.

Point 3: Valid point as it takes a lot of time, work, and effort to post regularly. If you don’t believe it, start a free blog on whatever blog platform you want.

Point 4: My posts cover a variety of subjects and there are going to be those who find that a turn-off. I also don’t do many videos or a lot of pictures which is a turn-off for many people. At some point, I hope to get a good video program that will allow me to do quality videos.

Point 5: Goes in hand with points 2 and 3 above. If you haven’t blogged on a fairly regular basis for a while, then your ability to provide advice is going to be limited.

Point6: In a way, this ties in with points, 2, 3, and 5. I won’t generally give advice to a blogger unless they ask for it. I may comment on a blog post that may touch on giving advice, but I try to avoid it as some bloggers don’t take advice well. I will be asking another blogger for some advice once I get closer to being able to implement any advice he provides.
