FUNNY video: “Night of the Living Trekkies” — Fan Film Factor

Back in September of 2010, author KEVIN DAVID ANDERSON saw his novel NIGHT OF THE LIVING TREKKIES (still available in hardcover, paperback, kindle, and audio format) published by Quirk Books. via FUNNY video: “Night of the Living Trekkies” — Fan Film FactorNot sure why the linked video that shows up after I posted it isn’t working, but if you click on either the blog link above or the YouTube video link below, it should let you watch the trailer.

This is a blog that I follow and what could be better than Zombies meet Star Trek convention? A lot of stuff, but seems that zombies are the rage right now – see my post about Axis and Allies – Zombie Edition. Not sure the ebook is worth $9.99 when I can buy a print copy of the book for less than $5.00 from several Amazon retailers – https://www.amazon.com/Night-Living-Trekkies-Quirk-Fiction/dp/1594744637 (not an affiliate link). I will wait and see if the ebook goes on sale although I may later buy the print copy since it’s cheap enough.

There is a three minute trailer in the above link, but you can also watch it on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyO2k-jApng. After watching the trailer, it would have made a great movie. Plus, it’s parody/satire which gets around any potential issues with the holders of the Star Trek franchises.
