Uploading DNA Raw Data to LivingDNA from Other DNA Companies

If you have tested elsewhere (23andMe, AncestryDNA, FamilyTree DNA/FTDNA, or MyHeritageDNA, you can do a free limited transfer to LivingDNA. I found a link on FindMyPastDNA – https://www.findmypast.com/ancestry-dna-testing/ which leads to LivingDNA upload page. I shortened the link: https://my.livingdna.com/upload/start. I didn’t easily find it on LivingDNA. There’s a help link: https://www.livingdna.com/help-centre – scroll down to Uploading Data to Living DNA if you have problems or questions.

As I mentioned in earlier posts: LivingDNA To Start Accepting Free Transfers From Other DNA Companies*and LivingDNA Link Explaining Family Networksas well as several other posts, you won’t get full benefits. You don’t get haplogroups (mtDNA or Y-DNA) and you won’t get an ethnicity breakdown. They require you to purchase a test from them (regular price $99 with occasional sales as low as $79 or $89), and they have indicated there will be an option to upgrade your free upload for a fee. No word on how much it will cost. They partnered with FindMyPast which will eventually sell their own branded DNA kits. They are rolling out matching, but it may be another week or two before full matching is available. LivingDNA kits were available for a short time on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/3-Living-DNA-Ancestry-Test/dp/B07HWVRPNZ/, but the link shows as Currently Unavailable. I check the link on a regular basis as they may show back up.
