LivingDNA $89 Sale Price August, 2018

I don’t know how long the sale will last as it only shows limited time only on the LivingDNA website, but they are offering LivingDNA kits for $89, regular price is $99. I update the Current August 2018 DNA Sales shortly to include the sale price. For the price, you get mtDNA (males and females) and Y-DNA (males only) haplogroup predictions. They are probably a basic to intermediate haplogroup, but it’s a start. The company has teamed up with FindMyPast: LivingDNA Partnering with FindMyPast. In the past, the sales tended to last a few weeks most of the time, but I will update this blog post once the sale goes away, or if a different sale price is added. The cheapest is normally goes on sale has been $79, but I haven’t seen them offer it at that price since they dropped the regular price from $159 to $99.

You can also do a free limited transfer from raw data if you tested with AncestryDNA, MyHeritageDNA, FamilyTree DNA (FTDNA), or 23andMe. You won’t get haplogroup results, but if you upload your raw data by October 1, 2018, you will get matching once it goes live and ethnicity results. Note: for free transfers, your results will show as pending or unavailable until they make your results live. This is expected to occur between August 8 and November 1, 2018. They are rolling out the matching in small batches over this period of time.
