I ran across this the other day – an interview between a blogger and Curtis Rogers of GEDmatch – https://www.theblunderingdnagenealogist.com/2018/07/an-interview-with-curtis-rogers-man.html.
When asked about when GEDmatch Genesis would be released (as opposed to still being in beta), here’s his response:
Any best guesstimate as to when Genesis will release?
My best guesstimate was that it will be ready by last Christmas. After that, I gave up guesstimating.
There’s more to the interview, but you can read it on the above link.
GEDmatch and GEDmatch Genesis are great tools if you have taken almost any autosomal test of sufficient size. Be it AncestryDNA, MyHeritageDNA, FamilyTree DNA (FTDNA), LivingDNA, 23andMe, Genes4Good, or a few others.
