HumanCode Acquired by Helix

Going to be several DNA related blog posts today.

I received an e-mail today from HumanCode. The CEO announced HumanCode had been acquired by Helix.

HumanCode is becoming part of Helix
And we’re thrilled!

Today we are thrilled to announce that HumanCode has been acquired by our personal genomics partner, Helix!

I would like to assure you that both HumanCode products–BABYGlimpse and DNAPassport–will remain fully functional so that you can share and compare your insight with friends. Our decision to join Helix’s team had to do in large part with the close alignment of our two missions; the unique angle that Helix is taking – giving customers a wide range of choices for how to explore their DNA – increasingly convinced us that this strategy will offer customers the best way to tap their genomic information throughout their life.

When my co-founders, Jennifer and Ryan, and I started HumanCode just over a year ago, we shared a powerful vision for the potential in creating new experiences to help millions of consumers engage with, and understand, their own DNA. We’re pleased to continue this journey together with Helix, and excited for what we will build for customers like you.

Thank you for choosing HumanCode, and we hope you continue to enjoy your experience with our products, and the many products available on Helix.com.

You can continue to access your HumanCode products the same way you always have – through the apps you’ve downloaded in the app store.

All the best in your DNA journey,
Chris Glode, CEO, HumanCode

DNAPassport was the first Helix test I ordered as it was on sale for a good price. You can read my review on DNAPassport at https://upsdownsfamilyhistory.wordpress.com/2018/01/29/dna-passport-results/.
