Doolittle Raiders to Receive Congressional Gold Medal

Updated April 17, 2019 – the four living Raiders have passed on.

As reported on the Doolittle Raiders Facebook page, Congress has passed a bill to award the Doolittle Raiders the Congressional Gold Medal. The bill now heads to the White House for approval. You can read more about the bill on the Raiders Facebook page or the Doolittle Raiders website. Eighty men in sixteen B-25s participated in the raid. Of those eighty men, four are still living.
