Watch Out Amazon, UPS Also Testing Drone Delivery System

Updated September 24, 2018 – you can buy drones any number of places these days.

I saw this on Digital Trends. Not really related to any of my usual blog topics, but interesting.

A number of articles have covered Amazon‘s goal of adding drone delivery. Here’s one from the BBC.

This could catch on and we would have the skies filled with drones carrying packages from different companies. If it does catch on, Wal-Mart, Target, and other companies would feel the need to jump on the drone bandwagon or risk losing out.

I am surprised Google hasn‘t announced a plan to use drones for its Street View mapping.

How long before you can buy your own drone? That’s not as silly as it may sound. You can buy most civilian surveillance equipment at many tech shops. I also see a No Drone sign business boom.
